Here is the rock pinnacle in Dinant which splits the road in two. We had cruised on south, up the Meuse, from Dinant just for the great views but then we turned North again to return to Namur for the DBA barge rally starting on 25th May.
The scenery going back down the Meuse was beautiful; it is obviously a very affluent area with fantastic houses fronting the river with manicured gardens, all very different designs.

The stop in Profondeville was great with perfect scenery and a restaurant alongside the moorings for lunch. I used a submersible pump over the side here to wash the whole boat again without using up valuable fresh water from ashore or the tanks. The dry weather has meant a lot of dust around.
Here is Tilly guiding me back towards Namur as she worries that we might be late and miss all her adoring bargie friends. She really looks as though she is worrying about my speed and steering.
Here is Tilly in my Tilley hat sheltering from the sun under a tree in Namur, she was so happy to be able to visit every barge and meet the people, much more relaxed now!
